O DICE Awards é outra grande premiação da indústria dos games, e sua próxima edição acontecerá muito em breve trazendo os melhores títulos de 2015 para concorrer em várias categorias – assim como o The Game Awards que tomou lugar mês passado.
Como vocês podem imaginar, The Witcher 3 lidera em nomeações em diversas categorias. E na categoria Jogo do Ano, MGS V: The Phantom Pain curiosamente não está concorrendo, dando lugar a outros games como Rise of the Tomb Raider e Ori and the Blind Forest.
Haverão duas premiações para dois grandes nomes na indústria: Satoru Iwata, ex-presidente da Nintendo falecido no ano passado que receberá uma homenagem e uma espécie de prêmio post mortem pelas suas contribuições ao mundo dos jogos; e Hideo Kojima, que será prestigiado por Guillermo Del Toro ao entrar no Hall da Fama da Academia de Artes e Ciências Interativas.
